No internet and plenty of activities with my daughter. Color Fest in Washington, Utah.
My brother is not normal. No internet in the house except when he is home, which comes from his phone. I spent well over 2 weeks without a proper internet fix. Now I am catching up on many things. We have a 60th wedding anniversary party next week to throw for my lovely grandparents. Please forgive the lack of posts. I do plan on adding some posts this week. As I do have internet again, YAY mom. I am at my mom’s house again. I will be posting about fondant, as I had showed you in most recent post, the minion cake. I was also going to post some tidbits on Kale. A Congratulations to my Brother-in-law Chris and his significant other Shanna who had a baby last night at 11:16 pm 7 lbs 2 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. So as you saw my little helper, my 2 1/2 year old daughter was helping me yesterday. More or less spreading flour around. Which she called making “sand castles”. Don’t ask me where she got that from.
Now when you are breading chicken, what comes to mind? Sticky, flour encrusted hands, that everything you touch afterwards is covered in a nasty filmy flour.
Does Sand castles seem a little odd? I guess it can seem like your playing in “sand.”
Then she proceeded to point at the chicken pieces and call them fish. I pointed out that they were chicken, but she said no it’s fish. Laughing all the while.

Leave it to my daughter to make breading chicken an interesting experience.
I would say it is an experience, quite an experience, attempting to do anything in the kitchen with a toddler. She makes things interesting, Why this, why that? What you doing mommy…. A constant thing I hear every day.
So trying to get down to her level and explain things, well you get sand castles and fish.
